Plasterboard in Mallorca
Partition walls, ceilings and wall linings with a clean finish.
Plasterboard is made of gypsum boards fixed onto a metal frame. It is used to build partition walls, lower ceilings or line walls quickly and cleanly.
I fit it myself, and since I also do the painting, I can leave it finished and painted. It is a good option when you want to change something at home without a long building job.

When is plasterboard the right choice?
- You want to divide a room or create a walk-in wardrobe without building a brick wall.
- A ceiling needs lowering to fit recessed spotlights or hide pipes.
- A wall is so damaged that lining it is better value than rebuilding it.
- You are in the middle of a renovation and want to move quickly with little mess.

Measure and decide
We decide together where the wall or ceiling goes and whether any sockets or lights need preparing before it is closed.

Fitting with little rubble
Plasterboard makes little mess. Even so, I protect the area and tidy up at the end of each day.
Finish checked
We check the joints and corners together. If the ceiling has lights, the electrical company I work with connects them.
