I do the painting myself, just like the building work, so I can repair cracks and flaking plaster before painting without calling anyone else in.

When is it time to paint?

The walls are dirty, marked or the colour has faded.
There are cracks, flaking paint or old damp stains that should be fixed first.

The facade or outdoor walls have been damaged by sun and rain.

How I work

I look at the state of the walls and ceilings and we talk about the colours and finish you want.

Repair first, then paint
I fill cracks and dents, sand the surface smooth and then paint the walls and ceilings.
Checked in good light
I remove the sheeting and tape and we look at the result together, wall by wall.
